This is a
close up example of the photographic painting technique in
which I have always painted. I use photos for the reference
and then do the painting using oil paint on canvas, with basic
artist paint brushes. (No airbrush is used.) A step by step
example is given in my book "The Art of Jim Warren: An
American Original."
