I am generally known for my quickness in getting a portrait finished, usually within three weeks ...to three months at the most. This portrait of Dawn Greenwood admittedly took three years to complete! (My record for the most procrastinated painting of my 30 year career!) Much of this though was due to Dawn's break before our photo shoot to have a couple of children, and our perfectionistic changing of ideas after each photo shoot to insure that the painting was perfect.
