An Illustration is a picture used to help explain something such as a story, poem, music etc. Jim has painted over 200 illustrations for book jackets, album covers, movie posters, and the like. In this section, you can review a variety of these illustrations, ranging from his Grammy award winning album cover for Bob Seger to his illustrations of Lassie for Universal Studios. Jim's contributions to this genre took place, for the most part, in the 1980's. However, Jim gladly continues his illustration work these days on a selective basis.
