This is my very first movie illustration for the classic and campy horror movie Phantasm painted in 1978. For the painting, one of the stars of the movie Angus Scrimm (The Tall Man) who is actually very tall, and creepy in real life, came over to my home in his Hollywood makeup and graveyard tuxedo so that I could photograph him. My neighbors were more than just a little startled.
