ABOUT THE GICLEE REPRODUCTION PROCESS
(Giclée is a French word pronounced gee-clay.)

The quality is the best possible reproduction of Jim's work. Certified archival, these Giclée canvas reproductions are the most advanced technology. Giclées have an expected lifetime of over 70 years without fading in any light source. No glass is required when framing, allowing the painting to be seen without reflection and be touched without leaving fingerprints. Giclées portray Jim's work as he intended capturing the amazing detail and subtle color blends that are the trademark of his original work. As Jim himself puts it:

"98% true to the original... I thought the first sample that I saw was my actual painting!"

Most of the paintings in this catalog are available in two (and sometimes three) sizes ranging from 19x24 to 30x40. The number of prints available in each edition for each size are limited to 95 to 250 with 10 to 25 artist proofs (A/P's) & press proofs (P/P's). The regular edition prints as well as the A/P's & P/P's are signed & numbered and hand highlighted by the artist. All the A/P & P/P's are 'remarqued' by Jim in oil. These new & classic Jim Warren paintings that are being presented here are the complete currently available in the Jim Warren catalog.
