This painting was done especially for the November-December 2003 cover of the Tampa Bay magazine. Since we are here in Florida where Manatees are very common, and an environmental issue with 'Save The Manatees' as a major local cause, the publisher Aaron Fodiman requested I do a Manatee, so I did, playing with his imaginary friend, a little girl.
