Years ago I watched a movie titled "What Dreams May Come." In that movie there was a beautiful tree with purple flowers which struck me as quite surreal, yet beautiful. I decided that I had to paint that tree into my next painting which included a lot of other surreal elements, all of which to be honest, mean nothing particularly.
