Having grown up in Southern California, when I think of the beach, I normally recall such memories as sun tanned girls, surfing and volleyball.
But I also remember on a rare quiet day the sites and sounds of only the ocean waves and flying seagulls forming about in the sky, appearing to blend together with one another.
